1. The Question paper in each level will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) only and for every question, there will be only one correct answer to be chosen from the given options.
2. The number of questions mentioned in the above tables for different subjects or topics are indicative and approximate. The actual number of questions in the question paper may vary slightly, but the total number of questions will remain 150 only.
3. There will negative marking for wrong answers. The negative marking to be awarded for each wrong answer will be equivalent to 1/4th of the mark(s) allotted for that questions. For example, negative marking for the wrong answer of a question carrying 1 mark will be 0.25 and similarly negative marking for the wrong answer of a question carrying 2 marks will be 0.50.
4. Selecting more than one option of a question will be treated as wrong answer and will be awarded negative marking.
5. Question papers will be in the following languages – Assamese, Bengali, English, Bodo and Hindi.
ADRE Grade 4 Exam Pattern 2025
As per the official guidelines, candidates appearing for the ADRE Grade 4 vacancies must be aware of the following exam structure. At BSC Academy Guwahati, our mock test series are strictly designed based on this specific pattern:
Mode of Exam: The examination will be conducted in Offline (OMR Based) or Online mode (as per official notification), consisting of 135 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for a total of 135 Marks.
Multilingual Support: To support all candidates of Assam, the medium of the exam will be available in Assamese, Bengali, English, Boro, and Hindi.
Negative Marking: Accuracy is key! There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
Duration: Candidates will be allotted 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes) to complete the paper.
