RBI Grade B Recruitment Process

The Recruitment/Selection Process for RBI Grade B (General), consists of the following 3 Phases:

    • Mains Exam (Phase 2)
    • Interview (Phase 3)

The RBI Grade B Prelims exam is basically an elimination round. Out of the lakhs of candidates, only a few thousands are selected to appear for the next stage.

The RBI Grade B Mains exam is one of the phases meant for the selection of the top-scoring candidates. In this exam, every candidate who scores above the cut-off marks is allocated a score.

Those with the highest scores in the Mains are then selected for the final phase or the Interview round. This phase too, like with the Mains, is meant for the selection of the highest-scoring candidates.

After the interview round is over, the final list of the selected RBI Grade B candidates is prepared considering the combined scores of those with the highest marks in both, the Mains, and the Interview round.

The candidates on the final list are eventually the ones that are recruited and get to train as RBI Grade B 2025 officers.
